I live in a third-world “banana country”. However, I checked Upwork, and I found the salaries are absurd (even for a third world country). I know that the media of India is low but it is absurdly low (it is artificially low).

The average salary in China is around 23k usd (per year) that it’s close of my country.

The average salary in India is around 5k USD (per year)

And while the average salary in US of A is around$5k (per month)

We can’t compete with it.

And Upwork is a cheap outlet, so the salaries are even lower.
