If you are a business analyst, then you must know Excel by memory. Excel, phone, email and know how to date a meeting are key.

But also, business analyst could learn SQL because, even when it’s ugly, it works FAST, insanely fast.

However, let’s say we have a business analyst and he or she, doesn’t know SQl, then Power BI (a dashboard generator) is a breeze. If the database is normalized, it does the job practically automatically.

I was working on a example database and I added PowerBI for fun. And shocking, it worked really well, without code or any other mumbo jumbo.
